A trip to the gorgeous An Rinn to visit Olympian Walker and Farmer Jamie Costin on his large Dairy Farm, you will arrive on time to see his cows being milked on his state of the art 54-bale Waikato rotary parlour.Jamie will talk to you about his exemplary efforts to run a sustainable farm, he may even regale you with some tales of his Olympian exploits.
After this we will go to see Jamie’s sister Mairead Costin who will show you around Garraí Mara which is a small-scale organic market garden farm producing fresh organic vegetables, using sustainable farming practices, and she will give you a special seedling to take away.
Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout this event. Please dress appropriately for the visit.
